It is part of the North Penn Valley region that is centered on the borough of Lansdale. Five Points is an intersection located at 40° 14 50.67 N and 75° 14 39.37 W, in Montgomeryville. The CDP has a total area of 4.8 square miles (12 km²), all of which is land. The median income for a household in the CDP was $80,097, and the median family income was $90,391. The town is served by bus routes 94, 96, and 132, which connect it with the Lansdale and Norristown neighborhoods of Philadelphia, as well as the SEPTA Regional Rail Line. The US 202 Parkway runs through the southern portions of Montgomeryville from southwest-northeast to southwest-southwest. The Water Tower Square shopping center is at Five Points. It was originally built as part of a larger shopping center called the Water Tower Mall, which opened in the mid-1990s. The center is located near the Pennsylvania Turnpike, which runs north-south through Montgomeryville. The turnpike runs from Philadelphia to Delaware.
